Blaine Gabbert is gaining the confidence of his head coach, as Mike Mularkey is now open to his quarterback running more often. Gabbert looks much more comfortable in the pocket this preseason, and Mularkey wouldn't mind him taking advantage of his running ability when he can.
Blaine Gabbert Could Boost Fantasy Football Value With Running Ability
The Jaguars might allow Blaine Gabbert to take off running more in 2012. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: The Jaguars offensive line did not do a good job of protecting their rookie quarterback in 2011. Now with a full season under his belt, Gabbert is keeping his composure more often when faced with pressure. He is an athletic player with pretty good wheels to rely on. Clearly Mularkey wants to see what he can do when given the option of scrambling at times. Gabbert rushed for 200+ yards in each of his last two seasons at Missouri. If he can add in some extra yards on the ground each game, fantasy owners will really benefit from his stats.
