Jacoby Ford appears to be making progress as recovers from a foot injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Dennis Allen stated last week the Ford’s injury was a matter of pain, which can be taken several different ways coming from a head coach. There is no structural damage or swelling in Ford’s foot, so it can be assumed that he will not miss much more time now that his walking boot is off. When he returns he will resume his duties as the return specialist for Oakland, as well as the No. 3 receiver on the depth chart. Ford has to prove that he can stay healthy after missing time last year as well. He’s an explosive receiver, but probably not someone you can rely on for your lineup at this point.
