Jets Finalizing Trade For Rams RT Jason Smith, According To Reports: Fantasy Implications
The New York Jets are finalizing a trade with the St. Louis Rams on Sunday that would send right tackle Jason Smith to New York in exchange for Wayne Hunter and defensive end Vernon Gholston. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Jason Smith has failed to live up to hype of being selected No. 2 overall in the 2009 NFL Draft, losing his starting job in St. Louis to Barry Richardson this offseason. He is still better than what the Jets were working with, which looked a little something like this. Yeah, not good. If Smith is simply serviceable, it will help the Jets offense tremendously. The move should make you feel a little better if you do wind up with Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow or Shonn Greene.
