A hip injury kept him in and out of practice over the last two weeks, and he ran for just 24 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.

Analysis: Redman is still set to open the regular season as the Steelers' feature back with Rashard Mendenhall still recovering from a torn ACL. Mendenhall is progressing swiftly, however, and will steal carries as soon as Pittsburgh deems him ready. It's anyone's guess as to who will get the lion's share of carries if/when both backs are closer to 100 percent. With no plan to split carries officially set in stone, both backs are difficult to recommend in fantasy drafts at the moment.
