Fantasy Football Rankings 2012: Top 100 Cheat Sheet For Standard Leagues
We provide a Top 100 cheat sheet to prepare you for your 2012 fantasy football draft in a standard league.

Again, keep in mind that SB Nation Fantasy has multiple fantasy writers and sometimes our opinions differ. Therefore, check out our positional rankings to get a full picture of what different experts think.
You can see Part I where I list some notes to clue you in regarding rankings where I stray a bit from my cohorts here and on other websites. Those differences stay true to form for the most part, but I give a few more notes here.
1. Unlike the PPR rankings where Ray Rice was rated No. 1, in standard formats I give Arian Foster the edge. You won't go wrong with Rice, but Foster has more upside. I think it is 50/50 which back ends with more points, but Foster has the better chance to absolutely dominate.
2. The players who drop the most transferring from PPR to standard include: Matt Forte, Reggie Bush and Darren Sproles at running back, and Percy Harvin and Wes Welker at WR. These are guys who rack up a ton of points through their receptions as opposed to breaking free for bunches of rushing yards or long bombs.
3. In Part I, I noted that I have not dropped Larry Fitzgerald nearly as much as most have due to the Arizona mess at QB and offensive line. However, in standard leagues, I do drop him a little more as part of his value is how consistently he hauls in catches, something not as important in a non-PPR league.
4. A lot of experts have Adrian Peterson dropping into the third round in both PPR and standard leagues. I just can't do that. Many of the same experts have him below Marshawn Lynch, who still could be suspended -- although that seems less likely lately -- and Jamaal Charles, coming off a major injury himself and competing with Peyton Hillis. I'd rather roll the dice with Peterson, who, if fully healthy by Game 4 or so, will give you first-round production for the bulk of the season.
5. As in Part I, I have tried to be helpful here by ranking players according to a drafting strategy that keeps in mind the value of the next available player at that position. So, a player may be ranked highly in part because there is a huge difference between that player and the next likely available player at that position.
