Cowboys tight end Jason Witten, out since the first preseason game with a lacerated spleen, visited with a doctor on Tuesday and whether or not he can play in Dallas's week one game against the Giants next week is still unknown. While he hasn't been ruled eligible to play, he hasn't been ruled out either and will likely be a game-time decision. Witten has only missed one game in his career when a broken jaw kept him out of a contest in 2003.
Jason Witten May Be Game-Time Decision In Week One: Fantasy Implications
Jason Witten visited with a doctor on Tuesday and could be a game-time decision for week one against the Giants. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Implications: Nothing really changes with this news as Witten has been listed as “50/50” or questionable ever since the reports on his spleen have been coming out for the past month. The good news last week was that he found out he could avoid surgery, but the extent of time that he could miss is still up in the air. Missing this much practice and preseason, it would not be wise to start Witten in fantasy for at least the first two games, even if he is listed as active.
