Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will be wearing a new protective flak jacket this season and Unequal Technologies CEO Rob Vito says, "I guarantee he will not get hurt." The maker of Vick's new protective gear, Vito says that the vest is made up of military-grade, battle-tested composite material that will help to protect his ribs and still feel light. Vick missed three games last year with injury and suffered a rib injury earlier this year in the pre-season.
Michael Vick’s Flak Jacket Gets “Guarantee” From CEO: Fantasy Implications
Michael Vick gets a guarantee on his health from the maker of his new flak jacket. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Implications: What Vito can not guarantee is that Vick won’t get hurt in other areas of his body, which is always a concern for the running and oft-hit quarterback. It’s also yet to be seen if the jacket could effect his playing style or throwing motion and how it might hamper him in the regular season, as well as help him. Vick threw a career-high 14 interceptions last season, and that is always a concern as well. This flak jacket should not change his fantasy draft status much.
