Kenny Britt is questionable for the Tennessee Titans regular season opener against the New England Patriots. The wideout is still recovering from a torn ACL last season, and is waiting word from the league on a possible suspension for his DUI arrest in July. Offensive coordinator Chris Palmer told the Nashville Tennessean that Britt will likely be limited in Week 1 if he does see the field.
Kenny Britt Will Be On ‘Pitch Count’ If He Plays Titans Opener: Fantasy Implications
Kenny Britt will likely be limited even if he is able to play in the Titans season opener. We break down the fantasy implications.

“We have to be careful,” Palmer said. “The other guys have been practicing for six weeks and they’re at a game speed and a tempo that is going to take Kenny a little bit of time to catch up to. So I think he’ll be on a pitch count on how many plays he can play until we feel comfortable he’s ready for a full game.”
Analysis: A suspension could ultimately be a blessing in disguise for Britt, who is still rehabbing his knee and was just activated from the physically unable to perform list Tuesday. An extra week or two would help the wide receiver get up to game-speed. It’s probably a smart move by the coaching staff to ease Britt back into the system, though it doesn’t do much good for fantasy owners. Britt is well worth the potential two or three weeks he’ll sit on your bench doing nothing, however. He went over 130 yards receiving in both of his only two full games played last season.
