Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton left Thursday's preseason game against the Colts, with an apparent bruised arm. Dalton took a hit from linebacker Robert Mathis on the Bengals' opening drive and was quickly tended to by trainers on the sidelines as backup Bruce Gradkowski went in. Dalton appears to be fine, but will not return to the game.
Andy Dalton Leaves Game With Arm Injury: Fantasy Implications
Andy Dalton left Thursday’s preseason game with an arm injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: This is more precautionary than anything - most teams rarely if ever play their starters in the final preseason game, and a banged up arm is as good as any excuse for the Bengals to get their franchise QB out of the game early. This concludes a rough preseason for Dalton, who finishes August with only 20 completions in 44 attempts, with 5.5 yards per attempt and a 68.6 QB rating. Don’t be too frightened by the injury, but don’t rush to overdraft Dalton either, as he projects as a middling fantasy QB at best.
