Being the final preseason game, the Houston Texans were expected to sit most of their starters, and they didn't disappoint. A total of 30 Texans are inactive for Thursday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, including QB Matt Schaub, RB Arian Foster, WR Andre Johnson, TE Owen Daniels LT Duane Brown, DE J.J. Watt and LB Brian Cushing, among many others. John Beck got the start in Schaub's place, with Sage Rosenfels taking over later. At running back, Ben Tate is also inactive, giving Justin Forsett the start.
Every Houston Texan Player You Heard Of Sitting Out Thursday’s Game: Fantasy Implications
The Texans have nearly their entire first team inactive in Thursday’s game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: It's almost comical how many starters the Texans are sitting, but they're taking absolutely no chances tonight - incidentally, a night that already saw minor injuries to Andy Dalton and B.J. Raji - but with the vast amount of injuries Houston suffered last season, can you really blame them? Nothing to see here, fantasy owners, those guys will all be there September 9th.
