RB Maurice Jones-Drew may be taking his holdout all the way into the regular season, but the Jacksonville Jaguars don't seem as stressed about it as people expect them to be. One of the biggest reasons has been the emergence of backup Rashad Jennings, who has already been awarded the starting job in Week 1 after a strong showing in preseason. Jennings had 34 yards in 11 carries for the Jags in the preseason finale Thursday, and ends the preseason with a solid 207 yards and 4.5 yards per carry.
Rashad Jennings’ Fantasy Value Rising After Strong Preseason
Rashad Jennings closed out a solid preseason Thursday night, and is ready to take over for MJD. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Jennings has mostly been serving the same role MJD did last year - chew up yards, keep the pressure off QB Blaine Gabbert - only with less of the explosive playmaking ability. Still, he's proven himself to be a reliable fantasy starter in his own right, and will be a nice handcuff when/if MJD comes back to the team.
