Tennessee Titans QB Jake Locker played the first half in Thursday's preseason finale against the New Orleans Saints. He went 9 for 16 with only 81 yards before being relieved by Matt Hasselbeck and Rusty Smith. Named the Titans' Week 1 starter early in the preseason, Locker finishes his August with 31 completions on 60 attempts for 316 yards, adding 57 rushing yards.
Jake Locker’s Fantasy Value Uncertain After Uneven Preseason
Jake Locker showed some potential and some rawness in the preseason. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: At the risk of recycling an overused catchphrase, Locker was who we thought he was. A gifted athlete with tremendous arm strength and flashes of brilliance, but he’s still struggling with overthrown passes and happy feet, flaws he has had ever since his Washington career. He has potential for greatness and fantasy keeper players should be coveting him, but there could be lots of growing pains this year, so we can’t recommend him for single-season leagues.
