The Packers planned on the fourth game of the preseason being a determining factor in how the running game will be managed heading into the 2012 season, but things are still a mystery in Green Bay. Cedric Benson, Packers Backfield Still Uncertain For Fantasy Owners
Cedric Benson and the Packers backfield still have questions to be answered going into the regular season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Fantasy owners jumped into an uproar when Benson signed with the Packers at first, but now they’ve had time to understand the situation a little better. Benson already isn’t expected to be the third-down back, and Alex Green is still hanging on in this competition. While Green is taking a backseat to Benson right now, he will still be able to take away from his workload. James Starks continues to battle turf toe, making him undraftable at this juncture. Benson is the back to own, but Green will hang around.
