Leslie Frazier says he expects Adrian Peterson to be a game-time decision for the Vikings in their Week 1 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Peterson's progress has been well noted this offseason, and it appears he will be able to play much sooner than previously anticipated.
Adrian Peterson Game-Time Decision For Week 1 Boosts Fantasy Value
Adrian Peterson might be back to work sooner than everyone expected. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: The Vikings might be rushing things here a bit. Peterson just started participating in physical contact drills recently, so he'll still need time to prepare for a real game. Of course this could simply be a smokescreen to throw the Jaguars off in their preparation, but Frazier continues to note Peterson's quick recovery. If he can return to his old form, Peterson will be one of the top backs for fantasy owners. Toby Gerhart should still be on everyone Peterson owner's roster, as he will surely see plenty of action heading into the regular season.
