Matt Flynn looked sharp in his extended playing time against the Raiders on Thursday night, completing 11 of 13 passes for 113 yards and one touchdown. This was the best performance of the preseason for Flynn, as he now puts the pressure back on Russell Wilson.
Matt Flynn Boosts Fantasy Stock With Strong Outing Versus Raiders
Matt Flynn had a solid outing in his final game of the preseason. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Flynn wasn’t playing the Raiders first-string lineup, but he did look sharp throughout the night, only missing two targets overall. It’s been a disappointing year so far for the newly acquired quarterback. He was officially relegated to the No. 2 spot on the depth chart as Pete Carroll move Wilson into the starting role last week, but it doesn’t appear Flynn is just going to sit back and take it. Wilson really impressed his organization in the first three games he played, but he is a rookie, so we can’t expect everyone to turn out like Cam Newton their first year.
