Pittsburgh Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall still has no clear timetable in his return from ACL surgery. The Beaver County Times notes that Mendenhall was in uniform for the Steelers' final preseason game Thursday, but had no chance of coming into the game and has practicing in a limited basis the past two weeks. Mendenhall was expected to begin the regular season on the PUP, but got activated much earlier than anticipated.
Rashard Mendenhall Not Close To Providing Any Fantasy Value Yet
Rahsard Mendenhall is still limited in practice, and there’s no telling when he comes back. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: It's still looking like Mendenhall won't be playing until October at the earliest. In the meantime, the Steelers expect to use some combination of Isaac Redman, Jonathan Dwyer and Chris Rainey at RB. Dwyer probably has the most fantasy upside, but it's not a very inspiring group. Mendenhall should be sitting on your waiver wire for now until his status is more clear.
