The Chicago Bears are reportedly close to adding some needed to depth to their defensive line. Former first-round draft pick Amobi Okoye has been released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chicago Sun-Times reports that Okoye will return to the Bears. Okoye had signed a one-year, $1.3 million contract with the Bucs after playing last season as a reserve in Chicago.

Analysis: Okoye missed the last three preseason games in Tampa Bay and apparently first-year coach Greg Schiano had lost patience with former No. 10 overall pick. The Bears have had several injuries along the defensive line, so adding Okoye seems like a move that could provide solid depth for one of the better D/ST units in fantasy football.
