With the release of Marvin McNutt, the Philadelphia Eagles will, for now, have five wide receivers on the roster for Week 1. McNutt is eligible to be signed for the practice squad. He was behind DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Jason Avant and Damaris Johnson. Riley Cooper is one of the five, but he could miss the first game because of a collarbone injury.
Eagles Cut Marvin McNutt, Will Have 5 WRs For Opener: Fantasy Implications
The Philadelphia Eagles are expected to have five wide receivers on the roster for Week 1 after cutting Marvin McNutt. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: The release of McNutt likely says more about the health of Cooper and his availability to start the season. It's hard to believe that the Eagles would only take four healthy receivers into Week 1. The group is a solid one for Michael Vick but fantasy owners will likely only get use out of Michael Vick throwing to Maclin and Jackson.
