The New Orleans Saints have released kicker John Kasay, meaning Garrett Hartley has won the right to be the team's starting kicker in 2012, according to Mike Triplett. The New Orleans Saints have released kicker John Kasay, meaning Garrett Hartley has won the right to be the team’s starting kicker in 2012. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Kickers aren’t worth fretting over in fantasy football, but it’s nice to have a strong-legged kicker who plays in a high-octane offense. Hartley has both of those qualities, not to mention he kicks in a dome for half of his games. He could get back on the fantasy map this season.
