John Skelton will be the Arizona Cardinals' starting quarterback when the team kicks off its season Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks, according to Adam Caplan. Skelton was battling the highly-paid Kevin Kolb for the position, and after out performing him in the preseason, has reportedly won the competition. The Cardinals' passing offense was more efficient in 2011 when Skelton took over for the injured Kolb.
John Skelton Will Start Week 1 For Cardinals: Fantasy Implications
John Skelton will be the Arizona Cardinals’ starting quarterback when the team kicks off its season Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Larry Fitzgerald is the most fantasy-relevant Arizona Cardinal, and he gets a big bump with Skelton under center. He put up much better numbers when Skelton played last year. That's the good news. The bad news is that Arizona still has one of the worst offensive lines in the entire league. Skelton will have to get rid off the ball in hurry. He's worth stashing only in deep, two-quarterback leagues.
