Denver Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno has made a quick recovery from the torn ACL that ended his 2011 season in November, and Broncos President John Elway was impressed with his preseason performance. "When you look at the full package, we were excited about where Knowshon was, and how he ran the ball and continued to get better throughout camp." Moreno will be fighting for carries with Lance Ball and Ronnie Hillman as a backup to Willis McGahee.
Knowshon Moreno Hopes To Revive Fantasy Value With Quick Injury Recovery
Knowshon Moreno is fully healed from his ACL tear and ready to contribute again. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: The vote of confidence from Elway is nice, but Moreno has a ways to go before he can be counted on as a fantasy asset again. McGahee isn’t the most durable back and could use a handcuff, but there’s no clear backup behind him. I would take a wait-and-see approach with Moreno before using a roster spot on him.
