Russell Wilson went 18-for-34 passing for 153 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Sunday's game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals. He nearly led the Seahawks on an impressive last minute drive (with the help of a phantom timeout) but his fourth-down pass from the five-yard-line sailed through the hands of Braylon Edwards incomplete.
Russell Wilson Solid In Debut, But Quiet In Fantasy Terms
Russell Wilson went 18-for-34 passing for 153 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Sunday’s loss to the Cardinals. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Wilson’s night was quiet from a fantasy football standpoint, but he looked poised and accurate and ready to lead the Seahawks’ offense. He could be in for some big outings this season, but it’d be nice if his offensive line gave him a bit more time to stand in the pocket. Wilson was sacked three times on the night. The rookie can’t be recommended as a starting option at this point, except perhaps in two-quarterbacks leagues.
