Josh Freeman started out 2012 on a high note by leading his team to a victory over the Carolina Panthers. Freeman completed 16 of 24 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown.
Josh Freeman Finishes With Quiet Fantasy Performance Against Panthers
Josh Freeman didn’t turn many heads with his numbers against Carolina. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: After completely falling out of fantasy relevance in 2011, Josh Freeman is looking to erase his dismal second-year campaign by leading a revived Buccaneers squad to bigger and better things this season. Freeman didn't put up fantasy-worthy numbers, but he did manage his team well in Greg Schiano's first game as head coach. Schiano wants to run the ball, and run it often. With Doug Martin solidifying his starting role with a great outing in Week 1, the Bucs will likely continue to stick with the ground game as their go-to strategy. Don't expect Freeman to lead your fantasy team to victory anytime soon.
