Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams struggled mightily during Sunday's game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks. Wells had just seven carries for 14 yards. The rookie Williams had eight carries for nine yards, adding two catches for 17 yards.

Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams combined for just 23 yards rushing on 15 carries during Sunday’s game between the Cardinals and the Seahawks. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Wells and Williams did essentially nothing on the night, and to make matters worth it was LaRod Stephens-Howling who got the call to punch the ball in from the one-yard line in the second quarter. Both backs are tough to recommend as fantasy options in any league if they continue to split carries AND lose out on goal-line touches. Williams appears to have the most upside of the two, by virtue of being younger and having a role in the passing game.
