Vincent Jackson led the way for the Buccaneers in the receiving department on Sunday, but he didn't make much of an impact for fantasy owners. The new addition to Tampa Bay's passing game caught for passes for 47 yards against the Panthers.
Vincent Jackson Leads Buccaneers In Receiving, Stays Quiet In Fantasy
Vincent Jackson had a quiet first game as a Buccaneer. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Jackson is one of those players who won't put up huge numbers week to week, but when he goes off he'll steal the show for your lineup. Week 1 of the 2012 season wasn't anything special for Jackson. The Buccaneers aren't looking to overpower opponents through the air, so Jackson might not have as much of an impact as owners were expecting when the news of his signing first came in the offseason. He's easily the best weapon Josh Freeman has to target. He did see 10 balls thrown his way against Carolina. With more time this duo should at least produce better numbers.
