Peyton Manning went 19-for-26 passing for 253 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's game between the Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The veteran showed little rust after spending the 2011 season sidelined by a neck issue. He found Demaryius Thomas and Jacob Tamme for his two scores.
Peyton Manning Disproves Fantasy Doubters, Throws 2 TDs Vs. Steelers
Peyton Manning passed for 253 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday’s game between the Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Steelers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Manning passed a critical litmus test on primetime Sunday, looking smart, accurate and strong against an excellent defense. He didn’t put on a prolific performance, but it was definitely a solid passing line for fantasy owners. The biggest concern will be whether his ceiling is capped within a Broncos offense striving for run/pass balance. He was good enough to be considered a safe starting option in standard leagues most weeks, however.
