Jake Locker injured his non-throwing shoulder while trying to make a tackle in his Week 1 game against the Patriots. Locker said his injury was a bruise, and head coach Mike Munchak believes he will be ready to go this Sunday against the Chargers.
Jake Locker Should Be Healthy For Fantasy Owners In Week 2
Jake Locker looks like he will be fine for Week 2 of the regular season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: As far as reports go at this point, there isn't an MRI scheduled for the young quarterback. Locker did not have a huge day for fantasy owners, but his 89.2 quarterback rating was a positive start. If he is unable to go, though, in Week 2, Matt Hasselbeck will get the nod at quarterback. Neither quarterback was able to dominate against a poor New England secondary. If you're planning on starting Locker this weekend, you need to continue to monitor his status closely throughout the week.
