Rashad Jennings did not play in the second half of the Jaguars regular season opener against the Vikings after suffering a knee injury. While his injury doesn't appear to be a serious issue, the return of Maurice Jones-Drew will force Jennings workload to plummet.
Rashad Jennings Injury, Second-String Status Drops Fantasy Value
Rashad Jennings missed half of Week 1 with an injury, and Maurice Jones-Drew is now taking over as the No. 1 back again. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: The fallout of MJD”s return to Jacksonville only affects Jennings in a negative aspect. Jones-Drew resumed acting as the No. 1 runner in the Jaguars backfield, and we can only expect him to handle the majority of the carries in the coming weeks. While Jennings did put in an impressive preseason, he can’t do anything about MJD. He might still be able to see a few touches thrown his way now and then. Don’t plan on Jennings making an impact, though, unless Jones-Drew can’t play.
