Week 1 of the 2012 NFL season is in the books, and here is the first edition of the weekly PPR Target Report. This report will provide you with the top 20 targeted receivers at each of the skill positions: running back, wide receiver and tight end. This report will also highlight a few players, at each position, who Hit the Bullseye, and those who Missed the Target.

The Hit the Bullseye list will include guys who outperformed expectations or had a break out game. The list will include a few guys you should either pick up if available on the Waiver Wire, or place on your Watch List. The Missed the Target group will include players who had bad games or are trending down in the target category.
You can view the target reports for wide receivers and running backs as well.

Hit the Bullseye
Fantasy owners hope that Finley's 11 target, seven reception game in Week 1 is a sign of things to come. Finley and the Packers' offense teased fantasy owners last September with a three-touchdown performance, but I have a feeling quarterback Aaron Rodgers will utilize Finley a bit more this season. His 11 targets led all tight ends this week.
Colby Fleener, IND
It certainly helps that Fleener played at Stanford with quarterback Andrew Luck, and many felt he would be one of Luck's favorite targets this season. Week 1 proved that theory to be correct. Fleener was targeted 10 times, grabbing six receptions for 82 yards, but did not hit paydirt. I think he could be one of the more productive tight ends this season.
Missed the Mark
Jason Witten, DAL
Witten was injured in Week 1 but still suited up and played, but was only targeted three times by quarterback Tony Romo, catching two balls for 10 yards. Fantasy owners don't have to worry as Witten should be one of Romo's favorite targets once he is completely healthy.
Jacob Tamme, DEN
Tamme was targeted five times by new Broncos' quarterback Peyton Manning on Sunday night, catching all five targets for 43 yards and a score. But, for me, I was hoping he would be targeted a bit more. I think Tamme continues to be a solid start in leagues that require a tight end going forward.
