The Tennessee Titans have no plans to limit or bench Chris Johnson after he rushed for a paltry four yards on 11 carries during Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots. According to the Nashville Tennessean, head coach Mike Munchak said that Johnson's problems can be attributed in part to quarterback Jake Locker's struggles deciding whether to check the Titans into run or pass plays. Johnson may have also overexerted himself trying to make big plays.
Chris Johnson Earns Vote Of Confidence After Rough Fantasy Outing
Titans coaches defended Chris Johnson’s rough outing against the Patriots on Monday. We break down the fantasy implications.

“Early he was, again, looking for a bigger run than was there instead of taking the 4 or 5 (yards) that are there. The cutback and the big one may come later if you get more touches,” Munchak said. “I’m sure he thought he was going to get a lot more than (11) carries ... but he didn’t.”
Analysis: It’s not a good sign that the Titans’ brass already has to publicly defend Johnson after just one game. Still, he has proven that he has a tremendous talent in the past, and may simply need time to find his groove. Wait to see how things shake out before making any drastic fantasy decisions regarding Johnson. He still had a semi-productive thanks to seven receptions for 47 yards.
