Tennessee Titans QB Jake Locker (shoulder) practiced for the second day in a row Thursday and is "still on track for Sunday", reports Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean. Locker injured his non-throwing shoulder attempting to make a tackle on an interception Sunday against the New England Patriots. The Titans play San Diego in Week 2.
Jake Locker Practices Again Thursday: Fantasy Implications
Jake Locker practiced again Thursday, and is on track for Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy Impact: The Titans have a capable backup in Matt Hasselbeck, so there's no need to rush back their young franchise QB. Locker probably shouldn't be starting in most fantasy leagues, but he put up decent numbers against the Patriots, and will have a valuable weapon Sunday when Kenny Britt comes back from suspension. The second-year player has QB2 upside this season.
