Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub completed 26 of 35 passes for 195 yards as the Texans beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-7.
Matt Schaub Boring But Efficient For Fantasy Owners
Matt Schaub was decent in the Texans’ win over Jacksonville. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: The Texans made a concerted effort to beat the Jags with their run game and defense. It worked almost too well, as Schaub mostly served as a gatekeeper for Arian Foster and Ben Tate, handing off the ball off 48 yards compared to 35 pass attempts. When he did throw, it wasn't for much (5.6 yards per attempt). Hardly sexy numbers, but he didn't commit any turnovers and fit in fine as a QB2. The Texans face the Denver Mannings in Week 3, so look for him to open up the passing game more.
