Adrian Peterson rushed for 60 yards on 16 carries, and had 20 yards on three receptions during Sunday's game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Indianapolis Colts. He was held out the end zone, however, one week after scoring two touchdowns in the season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Adrian Peterson Productive In Fantasy Sunday, But Held Out Of The End Zone
Adrian Peterson racked up 80 total yards of offense during Sunday’s game between the Vikings and Colts, but was held out of the end zone. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy Impact: Peterson is nearing 100 percent in his recovery from a torn ACL, and it shows on the field. He is averaging nearly 4.4 yards per carry and is clearly still a pivotal piece of the Vikings’ offense. Peterson should remain a solid starting RB1/RB2 option going forward, just hope he remains on the field.
