Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman said after Sunday's loss to the New York Giants that his team's offense needs to make big plays more consistently. He said (via The Tampa Bay Times) that Tampa Bay was moving the ball early in the game but then hit "a bit of a lull." Freeman connected with Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams for touchdown passes but the offense was under pressure to keep performing late in the game as Eli Manning led the New York Giants to 25 fourth-quarter points.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman says his team’s offense hit a bit of a lull after a strong start in Week 2 against the New York Giants.
Fantasy Impact: Freeman’s two touchdowns and 243 passing yards are a solid effort but fantasy owners watching the game had to have been frustrated by the lack of offense in the second half. The touchdown pass to Williams didn’t come until the Buccaneers had fallen behind after squandering a 14-point lead. Freeman is still a No. 2 fantasy quarterback but he seems to be headed in the right direction because of his emerging chemistry with Jackson.
