Jamaal Charles reportedly aggravated his surgically repaired left knee during Sunday's game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, according to the Kansas City Star. Head coach Romeo Crennel said Monday that Charles was limited during the second half of the blowout loss due to soreness. The running back tore his ACL in the same knee last season. Crennel said he believes Charles will be able to play Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints.

Fantasy Impact: In some ways, it's good to see that there's a physical ailment at the root of Charles' dismal numbers Sunday. He had six carries in the loss, for a grand total of three yards. What's less encouraging is the fact that the talented running back is still not quite 100 percent, and may need some time before he can be counted on to carry a full load and reward fantasy owners. Peyton Hillis could be the better fantasy option in the short-term out of the Chiefs' backfield.
