Arizona Cardinals quarterback John Skelton (ankle) was out as expected for Wednesday's practice and likely will not return this week against the Eagles. Kevin Kolb is almost assured to start against his former team as Skelton recovers from what looked to be a devastating injury against the Seahawks in week 1. It's still unknown whether Skelton or Kolb would get the start when the former is healthy, but that's highly dependent on how the latter does in his absence.
John Skelton Out At Wednesday Practice, No Fantasy Value Whether Starting Or Not
John Skelton missed another practice on Wednesday and seems unlikely to play on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: It's probably not a bad thing for Skelton to miss facing the Eagles, as they have smothered Brandon Weeden and Joe Flacco through the first two weeks: 44.2% completions, 350 yards, 1 TD and 5 INT with four quarterback sacks. This could be just the kind of game that if Skelton misses it will actually increase the likelihood that he can win back his starting job when he's fully recovered. Kolb is never usually a good start, but it could get even uglier against Philly. This could also depreciate the value of Larry Fitzgerald.
