The Seahawks released Kellen Winslow on Saturday after he had a poor showing throughout the preseason. The 29-year-old tight declined to take a pay cut to stay with the team, and Seattle wasn't going to keep around with a $3.3 million contract. Kellen Winslow will not play for the Seahawks this year, while Evan Moore has found a new home in Seattle. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Winslow doesn’t appear to have much left in his injury-plagued knees. He is still likely to catch on with another team, but at this point there isn’t much hope for him being any kind of factor for fantasy owners. Moore on the other hand is expected to form a tandem with Zach Miller in Seattle. Last season Moore caught 34 passes for 324 yards and four touchdowns. Pegged as a sleeper in 2011, he has some upside, but won’t be able to score enough points working alongside Miller to be considered a fantasy starter, unless your league is incredibly deep.
