Malcom Floyd is off to a very good start to the 2012 season for the San Diego Chargers, according to the North County Times. Floyd is the Chargers' most heavily-targeted wideout so far this season, and is on pace for to finish the year with over 50 receptions and 1,000 yards receiving for the first time in his career.
Malcom Floyd Off To Healthy Fantasy Start This Season
Malcom Floyd has 10 catches for 175 yards and a touchdown for the San Diego Chargers through two weeks. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: The reason Floyd has never been able to top those numbers before is because of injuries. He has played just one full 16-game slate in his six years in the NFL. So far so good, however. Philip Rivers has yet to develop much chemistry with Eddie Royal or Robert Meachem, making Floyd a productive fantasy option for the foreseeable future. If he stays healthy, he could be an excellent WR2 this season.
