Cleveland Browns RB Trent Richardson had his big coming out party in Week 2, and the Browns could reward him with a bigger workload. Offensive coordinator Brad Childress told Scout.com that he expects Richardson to see more snaps in third down situations: "I think you'll see Trent work more into those third down situations. We want to use him in the areas that he's mastered." Still fresh off preseason knee surgery, Richardson got 48-of-67 offensive snaps against the Bengals and was spelled by Chris Ogbonnaya, who saw 20 snaps and got six receptions for 73 yards.
Trent Richardson Could See Fantasy Boost With More Third Down Snaps
Trent Richardson appears ready to have a bigger role in Cleveland’s offense. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: It appears that Richardson's bum knee and slow Week 1 are well behind him, and should be one of the top fantasy RBs in the league if the Browns utilize him more in passing downs. Ogbonnaya is the handcuff back for now with Montario Hardesty being a non-factor. The Browns host the Buffalo Bills in Week 3.
