Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden's health was his biggest question mark going into the season, but he may have a new set of questions now--the scheme around him. After a sluggish start to the season (54 yards on 26 carries), offensive coordinator Greg Knapp took to the Contra Costa Times to defend his new zone blocking scheme: "Let's keep things in perspective for a second here, we've played two games in the regular season on offense...we need some patience...You can't develop a scheme in two weeks in a regular season."
Darren McFadden’s Slow Start Concerning Fantasy Owners, Raiders Plead Patience
The Raiders are facing a lot of questions about their new offense after a slow start to the season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: That’s great and all, but Knapp also had an entire training camp and preseason to install this scheme, so he shouldn’t act surprised when fans and fantasy owners are displeased with the results. DMC is still an elite fantasy back, and there’s plenty of time to right the ship, but it’s never a good sign when the coaching staff is going into damage control just two weeks into the season. If they continue to misuse their biggest offensive weapon, the questions and criticisms will only get louder.
