DeAngelo Williams averaged a solid 4.5 yards per carry against the Giants on Thursday night. Unfortunately, the Panthers fell behind as soon as the game started, forcing them to turn to the air for most of the game. Williams finished with 50 yards rushing and 23 yards receiving.
DeAngelo Williams Fantasy Value Decreases As Panthers Fall Behind
DeAngelo Williams didn’t have a ton of opportunities to pad his stats on Thursday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: The thought of Williams breaking out with Jonathan Stewart sidelined continues to fall through. Williams found room to run when he was given the chance, but 11 carries aren't going to do much for his fantasy value. The Panthers had to rely on Cam Newton after they failed to score a single point in the first half. Williams could be a decent flex play against Atlanta next week.
