Fantasy Impact: Consider it a little concerning that Smith couldn’t put up bigger numbers while the Panthers were constantly forced to throw the ball against a depleted secondary. He hauled in every pass that came his way, showing his rapport with Newton is as strong as ever. It would be nice, though, for fantasy owners to see him have a few more looks each game going forward.
