We're back for Week 3 of the 2012 NFL season. The Giants and Panthers got Week 3 going on Thursday as we saw Andre Brown make a whole lot of fantasy owners happy. Ahmad Bradshaw's injury last week opened the door for Brown to put up 71 yards in relief. Given the start against Carolina, Brown blew up for 113 yards and two touchdowns. Some folks on the waiver wire are pleased, David Wilson owners are wondering what happened.

We have been providing you with rankings all week long, but as Sunday dawns, it would be helpful to have some projections as well. Our Week 3 running back rankings are based on our pool of knowledge and often a bit of gut instinct. The big difference this week is in the value of Redskins running back Alfred Morris. SB Nation Fantasy ranks Morris No. 26 in PPR leagues and No. 27 in standard leagues, while numberFire ranks him No. 11 overall. Redskins coach Mike Shanahan has burned many fantasy owners in years past, but for now it appears as though Morris is the man who will be controlling the rushing game for Washington for the foreseeable future. Of course, that is exactly when Mike Shanahan tends to pull the rug out from under fantasy owners.

However, as with anything in fantasy football, we at SB Nation Fantasy view numberFire as just one more weapon in your arsenal to claim victory.
