Indianapolis Colts WR Donnie Avery was pretty quiet in Week 3. Against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Avery had only two catches for 28 yards despite getting nine targets, second most on the team behind Reggie Wayne. The Colts went on to lose to the Jaguars 22-17.
Donnie Avery Has Quiet Fantasy Day
Donnie Avery had a letdown game in Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Austin Collie was carted off the field with a knee injury that could be season-threatening, so Avery is presumably the new No. 2 WR going forward, but he'll have to fight off T.Y. Hilton, and weak performances like today won't help his cause. Hang on to Avery as a low-end starter and bench depth for now until Collie's status is made more clear. The Colts have their bye in Week 4.
