Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel was able to help lead his team to a victory on Sunday, but was mostly a game manager. Cassel completed 26-of-44 passing for 248 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception. He also lost a fumble to the Saints defense on one occasion.
Matt Cassel Game-Manages Win On Sunday, Fantasy Value Remains Low
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel game-managed a win on Sunday. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: Cassel does not have any real fantasy value, despite his corps of offensive weapons. His problem is inconsistency, and today’s game against a weak New Orleans defense is proof of why Cassel is not owned in a majority of fantasy leagues. It even makes him hard to predict if you’re an owner who likes to the play the match-ups. Feel free to use almost any one of the weapons on that Kansas City offense, just not its quarterback.
