Detroit Lions running back Kevin Smith had zero touches in Week 3 after being the team's primary running back for the opening two games of the season. Mikel Leshoure started and rushed for 100 yards against the Tennessee Titans, while Joique Bell picked up 23 yards on five carries as the game went into overtime. Coach Jim Schwartz said (via The Detroit News) that the team went with Bell later in the game because he wanted to use the fresher back.
Kevin Smith Sees Fantasy Value Plummet In Week 3 For Lions
Detroit Lions running back Kevin Smith may have dropped behind Mikel Leshoure and Joique Bell. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: If Sunday is any indication, Smith may have dropped all the way down to the No. 3 running back on the team’s depth chart. Leshoure certainly performed well enough to keep the No. 1 job and Bell was effective in relief. Smith is a player fantasy owners will have to consider releasing, especially if they need to fill roster spots because of bye weeks.
