The Jets might be giving fewer carries to Shonn Greene going forward. Bilal Powell and Joe McKnight may begin to get early touches, as Greene has not been very effective on the ground so far in 2012.
Shonn Greene Could Lose Carries, Hurting Fantasy Value
Shonn Greene might lose work after several poor performances. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: While Rex Ryan said this situation is only a possibility, it’s hard to imagine the Jets giving Greene a ton or work every game at this rate. He is averaging just 2.8 yards per carry through three games this season. New York isn’t about to abandon running the ball, so the other option would obviously be to cede more carries to the runners backing up Greene. Powell averaged 4.5 yards rushing in Week 3 against Miami, and looked much better than Greene.
