C.J. Spiller has not been ruled out for the Buffalo Bills' Week 4 matchup against the New England Patriots, according to head coach Chan Gailey. However, the running back is much more likely to return in Week 5 from a shoulder injury suffered Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
C.J. Spiller could play Week 4 against Patriots, according to Chan Gailey: Fantasy implications
C.J. Spiller could play Week 4 for the Bills but is more likely to return Week 5, according to head coach Chan Gailey. We break down the fantasy implications.

“Maybe not as bad as originally thought,” Gailey said about the injury. “[We’re] not going to completely rule him out this week, but you know, I think it’s more of a chance that he won’t than he will [play Sunday against New England].”
Fantasy Impact: Assuming they don't have a better option on the bench, Spiller owners should do everything they can to pick up Tashard Choice off waivers this week. Choice rushed for 91 yards on 20 carries after Spiller was knocked out of last week's game. Both Fred Jackson and Spiller could be healthy for Week 5, leaving the Bills' running situation unclear. Whoever earns the lion's share of carries will be a solid starting fantasy RB option in standard leagues.
