Stevan Ridley's limited role during Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens was due to the New England Patriots' decision to run a spread offensive scheme, according to reports. Ridley saw just 26 snaps to 51 for Danny Woodhead so that the Pats could execute a gameplan less conducive to Ridley's skills as a downfield runner.
