Washington Redskins running back Roy Helu will miss the rest of the season because of an Achilles injury. The team will place Helu on injured reserve. Helu was part of a crowded backfield to start the season that also included rookie Alfred Morris and Evan Royster. The Redskins this week added veteran Ryan Grant, who will be a backup for Morris. Royster has been bothered by a knee injury and has just five carries through three games. The Redskins face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
Redskins RB Roy Helu Out For The Season: Fantasy Implications
Washington Redskins running back Roy Helu will be placed on the injured reserve and miss the rest of the season because of an Achilles injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Morris is Washington’s No. 1 back so this injury does not have much of an impact to his fantasy value. Morris owners, however, may want to consider adding Grant as insurance now that Helu is out for the season. Royster has almost no fantasy value at this time.
